The tidal wave of content theft and the amount of contempt - not to mention publicity - that it is currently getting should, in my opinion, result in two things:
Cleverer thieves, and less of them. But no. This one, that came to my attention today, is so blindingly stupid you almost have to laugh about it.
Avenue Model Academy run training courses, have a well crafted blog, and issue notecards, as you do. A stellar lineup of instructors and facilities, makes it one of SL's best.
SL Model Academy, on the other hand, appear to have taken 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery' and turned it into 'imitation is the greatest form of stupidity'.
Not only is SL Model Academy's blog about as close as it's possible to get - and you have to wonder how much work went into making it the same, as opposed to just designing your own! - but now they've taken things to a new low.
They've taken to issuing a notecard with their curriculum, fees, and instructors on it. Problem is, it's Academy's notecard with the heading changed. So stupid, in fact, is this action, that they forgot to change the name of the person to pay the fees to. So they've copied the lot, sent it out, and left it with the $L still to be paid to the head of Academy Models. You've got to wonder.
